(Reuters) -India's equity benchmark indexes were little changed in early trade on Friday, as a dip in heavyweight financials at near record highs offset a broader rally fueled by upbeat global cues. The Nifty 50 added 0.07% to 25,569.4 points and the BSE Sensex rose 0.08% to 83,834.11 as of 10:15 a.m. IST. "The Nifty's breakout above its recent consolidation indicates rising optimism among traders," said Aakash Shah, technical research analyst at Choice Broking.

The IPO, the biggest-ever by an Indian non-bank lender, secured funds from investors including BlackRock funds, Life Insurance Corporation of India and Norway's sovereign wealth fund, a stock exchange filing showed late on Tuesday. The IPO comes at a time when foreign investors are returning to Indian equities after a period of heavy outflows, lured by $5.5 billion in large block trades in May and boosting hopes for a revival in the nation’s stock market.

(Reuters) -Indian lender HDB Financial Services has set a price band of 700-740 rupees per share ($8.06-$8.52) for its initial public offering, testing investor appetite for the country's biggest IPO so far this year in an uncertain market. The $1.5 billion issue will value the non-banking financial company, a unit of India's largest private lender, HDFC Bank, at around $7.1 billion, at the top end of the range, according to Reuters calculations. The three-day share sale, which starts on June 25, will see HDFC Bank, which holds a 94% stake in HDB, sell shares worth up to 100 billion rupees ($1.15 billion).
